The Beachcomber Inn Hotel is situated on the waterfront of Picton, just a 2 minute walk from the main street. The seaside township is surrounded by the bush-fringed beauty of the Queen Charlotte Sound, the gateway to over 1500km's of sheltered coastline full of interest and history. Our Hotel offers views of the marina and vista's of the Queen Charlotte Sound, an interesting and active marina at our doorstep and wonderful bush walks to see panoramic views of the Picton township, Queen Charlotte Sound and towards the Queen Charlotte Track.
The sheltered waters of the Sounds are a boaties paradise, while others who prefer to explore the Sounds on foot will find many scenic walks. This area is also well known for many world famous wineries.
Well known to many New Zealand travellers is the "Edwin Fox", the last surviving wooden sailing ship that brought settlers to New Zealand. This is sighted on the foreshore and is open 7 days a week
Being only a few minutes from the Bluebridge and Interislander ferry terminals makes The Beachcomber Inn the ideal place to stay should you be in transit between the North and South Islands of New Zealand.
Beachcomber Inn has its own inhouse resturant and bar, along with relaxing grounds and an inground swimming pool.
